What will you be doing? As an Electrical Remedial Engineer for BES Electrical, you will carry out electrical testing within the social housing industry in the North West and Yorkshire area, including domestic and communal sites.
- Undertake high‑quality electrical repairs and remedial works following inspection, such as distribution board changes, RCDs and socket changes
- Get involved in small projects such as EV installations
- Comply with company standards of work performance and electrical policies and procedures
- Ensure implementation and compliance with Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Use our CRM system and reporting software to accurately record electrical documentation
- Liaise with customers and supply‑chain partners to provide an excellent service
- Maintain van stocks and provide information to improve first‑time fixes in the area you work within

Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation work (e.g. C&G 2330, 2360, 2357, 2365)
- City & Guilds 2391, 2394 or 2395 inspection and testing qualification
- Positive, diverse and inclusive attitude toward both internal and external customers and colleagues
- Flexible approach to work, willing to work overtime during busy periods
- Available to work nights on average one week per month
- Hard‑working, conscientious electrician who takes satisfaction from delivering great service to a prestigious client base
- Good level of computer literacy
- Full driving licence
