We’re looking for a hands‑on Depot Operations Lead to run day‑to‑day depot operations and lead a high‑performing team. You’ll be responsible for fleet readiness, staff performance, safety, and operational standards — making sure the depot runs efficiently and supports excellent service delivery in the field. Working closely with senior operations and on‑street teams, you’ll also play a key role in process improvement, performance reporting, and maintaining a strong working relationship with the client.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead and manage depot and workshop teams, including mechanics and support staff
- Ensure high productivity, quality repairs, and fleet readiness
- Manage rotas, stock, tools, and depot assets
- Own health & safety compliance, toolbox talks, and safety checks
- Track performance KPIs and drive continuous improvement
- Support client reporting and contribute to monthly performance reviews
- Recruit, onboard, train, and develop team members
- Act as the escalation point for depot‑based issues
