Your Role as a Dental Therapist
As a Dental Therapist at our practice, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive oral healthcare to our valued patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough oral health assessments, including utilizing our advanced technology for precise diagnostics.
- Providing meticulous scale and polish treatments using state-of-the-art equipment to ensure optimal oral hygiene.
- Collaborating with our team of clinicians to plan and execute bespoke treatment plans, tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
- Assisting in periodontal treatments, including deep cleaning for gum disease management.
- Educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices and offering personalised advice for maintaining oral health.
- Working closely with our dental nurses to ensure seamless patient care and treatment coordination, including the use of Treatment Coordinators (TCOs) to guide patients through their treatment journey.
Requirements
- Valid certification and registration as a Dental Therapist.
- Strong knowledge of oral hygiene practices and the ability to educate patients effectively.
