Set within beautiful grounds and renowned for our bespoke weddings, exceptional food and outstanding service, Berwick Lodge offers couples a truly special setting for their big day. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering memorable experiences and who will uphold our high standards of care, creativity and attention to detail.
About the Role
We are looking for someone who can work 4 – 5 days a week to include up to three weekends per month (especially during peak season). As a Wedding Coordinator, you will guide couples through every stage of their wedding journey, from their very first enquiry, guiding couples through every stage of the planning journey… through to the big day itself! You will play a key role in building strong relationships with our couples, understanding their vision, and ensuring every detail is carefully planned and flawlessly delivered. You will also drive conversions, create an overall bespoke wedding experience for the couple and ensure every detail is perfectly executed.
As a small, close‑knit and independent business, every team member plays an important role in shaping our success. We empower our team with the autonomy to take real ownership of their role, and we truly value ideas, contributions and initiative. You’ll also have the opportunity to make a genuine impact and influence how we continue to grow and operate.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for all wedding enquiries, responding promptly and identifying high‑priority “hot” leads.
- Coordinate and host on‑site viewings of our stunning Berwick Lodge (including our 4 different locations to say ‘I do’) and our beautiful 18 acres of land.
- Prepare and follow up with bespoke wedding proposals tailored to each couple’s vision.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings, meeting sales targets and maximising revenue opportunities.
- Prepare and issue wedding contracts, invoices & follow up payments.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with couples, maintaining regular contact and acting as their main point of contact throughout the planning journey.
- Maintain strong relationships with our preferred and external suppliers.
- Create and manage bespoke wedding plans and timelines accordingly.
- Conduct planning meetings with couples to finalise all details of their wedding day (the exciting bit!).
- Prepare Banqueting Event Orders (BEOs) and coordinate with internal teams to ensure all departments are fully briefed ahead of the wedding day.
- Provide leadership and coordination on the wedding day, working closely with relevant teams and acting as the main point of contact for the couple.
- Attend and coordinate internal events such as menu tastings and wedding showcases.
- Social presence and keeping up with the latest wedding trends.
