Berwick Care is seeking a reliable and hardworking Seasonal Bank Gardener to join our team during the peak gardening season. Youβll play a key role in maintaining the beauty and safety of our grounds, ensuring a welcoming and well-kept environment for all.
This is an ad-hoc, flexible role on a zero-hour contract, perfect for someone who enjoys outdoor work and takes pride in keeping gardens and green spaces looking their best.
Key Responsibilities
- General garden maintenance including:
- Hedge trimming
- Weeding and planting
- Strimming and mowing
- Keeping outdoor areas tidy and safe at all times
- Assisting with seasonal planting and landscaping tasks
- Supporting with any other groundskeeping or ad-hoc duties as required
- Previous gardening or grounds maintenance experience desirable
- Ability to use garden tools and equipment safely
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Comfortable with outdoor, physical work in all weather conditions
- Flexibility to work on an ad-hoc basis depending on seasonal needs
Hours & Pay
- Zero-hour contract β flexible, seasonal work as required
- Pay: Β£14 per hour
- Breaks: 1 hour unpaid lunch break during full-day shifts
