Overview
In this role you will support the ADAS portfolio from lab development to road validation. You’ll capture specifications and commission first prototypes, conduct component testing and vehicle trials, and validate results. You’ll collaborate with internal and external experts across Europe to advance driver assistance technologies. This role offers exposure to cross-border testing, real-world application, and hands-on validation of cutting-edge automotive systems.
Responsibilities
- capture specifications and oversee commissioning of first prototypes
- perform component testing and vehicle trials
- validate test results and document findings
- conduct validation activities across UK and Europe
- collaborate with internal and external experts within project teams
Key requirements
- clean UK driver’s license
- training as automotive mechatronics technician with several years’ experience
- ideally further training as certified technician or master craftsman
- interest in innovative technologies and experience with driver assistance systems
- initial exposure to vehicle communication systems/CAN is advantageous
- team collaboration
- curiosity about new technologies
- good communication during cross-functional work
