VersaDock Installer

Marine IP Ltd is a subsidiary of Berthon. Its product range includes VersaDock pontoons, jetties, rafts, platforms, drive-on docks, swim platforms, VersaDock Air inflatable rafts, HarborHoist air berths, and dock boxes.

We are seeking a second installer to join the team to install, repair, and maintain a variety of leisure and commercial docks and other berthing systems such as HarborHoist.

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to manage a project from start to finish
• Customer facing providing service and support
• Control housekeeping and safety of facilities
• Quality & Stock control: control inventory, receive/unload goods, prepare orders for delivery on site including using a variety of tools and equipment.
• Forklift Truck driving (training can be given)
• Responsible for maintaining tooling and equipment in a serviceable state
• Maintain all required documentation
• Support sales team
• Deal with technical enquiries (After gaining product knowledge and experience)
• Travel in UK and overseas

The Person

• Mechanical aptitude with marine knowledge
• Able to work either alone or lead a team
• Motivated
• Good telephone manner
• Organised with the ability to plan their work
• Good time management
• Powerboat Level 2 qualified (training can be given)
• Presentable with the ability to cross sell to other customers
