The Role

Due to expansion and increasing demand for our high quality services, Berthon has immediate positions available for experienced Marine Electrical/ Electronic Engineers to join our highly skilled team on major refit and marina based projects.

Requirements

  • Experienced in marine electronic installations and service support of market leaders including Raymarine, Garmin, Navico, Furuno, and Victron Mastervolt.
  • Excellent diagnostic skills with the ability to work to exacting standards.
  • In depth knowledge of Marine electrical DC and AC systems.
  • Self-starters, motivated, reliable, with a good eye for detail and proven track record in the leisure or commercial marine industry.

Responsibilities

  • A wide range of electronic and electrical installations, repairs and upgrades.
  • Fault diagnosis on a range of engine electronic management systems, navigation systems and battery monitoring systems.
  • Commissioning, dock side trials, sea trials and collection & delivery trips.
  • Able to work on own initiative to provide off-site support to commercial customers.
  • A wide range of instrument and wiring upgrades.
  • Working in a team with all trades to produce a quality product to budget and on time.
