You’ll need a strong awareness of digital advertising platforms, experience working effectively with freelancers, the ability to analyse campaign performance and share insights to inform both individual campaigns and team best practise
- Focus on Cornerstone perennial titles – identifying and leveraging renewed opportunities to sustain success and increase visibility both domestically and internationally – particularly for our Cornerstone Press imprint
- Act as the key marketing liaison between international sales (including local marketing teams in Australia, India and Europe), audio marketing, and backlist editorial leads across the division
- Build and manage seasonal marketing campaigns for the backlist, including New Year, Summer Reading, Back to School, and gifting (Mother’s Day/Christmas)
- Monitor campaign performance, analyse results, and benchmark against set goals and targets, establishing a framework for continuous improvement – particularly for D2C international advertising
- Produce best-in-class, attention-grabbing campaign creative and consumer messaging across all your assets and marketing material and develop fresh positioning for consumer facing and internal marketing materials
- Hands-on channel management for Cornerstone Press imprint and excellent communication of plans and results to authors and agents and internal stakeholders
What you’ll bring:
- Track record of producing standout marketing campaigns ideally within the publishing industry
- Proficiency in leveraging audience insights and data for marketing strategies and the ability to monitor, analyse and benchmark campaign performance
- Highly organised with excellent time management in order to juggle concurrent campaigns
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and liaise with various teams
