The role
Are you creative, organised, curious and a great communicator? Vintage is looking for an experienced Marketing Executive/Senior Marketing Executive (6-month-FTC) to plan and implement outstanding multi-platform marketing campaigns for an exciting, enviable range of fiction and non-fiction from across the Vintage lists.
Key responsibilities
- This role will be responsible for planning, budgeting, and executing various book campaigns across a variety of genres working with a range of other internal departments.
- Be able to confidently contribute to creative brainstorms, generate ideas and develop them into sales-driving campaign strategies.
- Be a passionate communicator with impeccable author care.
- Display excellent organisational and planning skills, delivering campaigns on time, evaluating and sharing your results.
- Have imprint responsibility for Fern Press, attending editorial meetings and contributing to imprint strategy.
- Produce best-in-class, attention-grabbing campaign creative and consumer messaging across all your assets and marketing material and develop fresh positioning for consumer facing and internal marketing materials.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyse results, and benchmark against set goals and targets, establishing a framework for continuous improvement.
- This role will always look for creative ways to reach new readers, whether through partnerships, social media initiatives, bookseller engagement or through memorable campaign concepts and copy lines.
- You’ll always have a keen eye on competitor activity, be curious about the world around you, innovative and inclusive in your approach.
- You’ll be required to brief and run effective digital campaigns, implementing and measuring content strategies for newsletters and websites.
- You will have a desire to grow a great list of influencers, designers and other contacts.
What you’ll bring
- Demonstrable experience producing marketing campaigns ideally within the publishing industry or an experienced marketing team assistant now looking for more campaign responsibility.
- An ability to leverage audience insights and data for marketing strategies.
- Highly organised with an ability to handle conflicting priorities/projects.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and liaise with various teams.
- Creative thinker with a knack for developing fresh ideas.
- Experience in working with external agencies and managing media planning and activity.
