We are looking for a Manager - Supply Chain Operations to join us on a fixed-term contract through to April 2027. This is a highly collaborative role at the heart of the release process, connecting repertoire, marketing, commercial, digital operations, manufacturing, and distribution partners. You'll oversee the end-to-end operational execution of both physical and digital products, helping artists and labels maximise the impact of their releases while driving efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement across our workflows.
If you're passionate about music, thrive in fast-paced operational environments, and enjoy turning complex release plans into flawless execution, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Manage the creation, configuration, and maintenance of physical and digital products across internal supply chain systems and external partner platforms.
- Own the operational setup of digital releases, ensuring product configuration, metadata, assets, territories, release dates, pricing, and other delivery requirements are correctly established for distribution to DSPs.
- Work with Marketing and repertoire teams during release planning to identify digital and physical requirements and opportunities early, translating marketing plans into the appropriate operational setup and platform execution.
- Coordinate with Digital Operations and other specialist teams where direct DSP intervention, delivery escalation, rights-management activity, or platform troubleshooting is required.
- Translate approved commercial and release plans into executable operational timelines, product specifications, manufacturing orders, and digital delivery requirements.
- Coordinate physical manufacturing across all product formats, including CDs, vinyl, cassettes, box sets, special packaging, and other physical configurations.
- Manage production milestones, including receipt of audio, artwork, metadata, approvals, proofs, test pressings, and final manufacturing sign-off.
- Ensure physical and digital products are operationally ready for release, with complete assets, accurate data, appropriate digital product configuration, confirmed partner deliveries, and clear exception management.
- Coordinate product lifecycle events, including changes, cancellations, reissues, represses, territory changes, pricing updates, and takedowns.
- Act as the primary operational link between repertoire owners, Marketing, Commercial, Metadata, Asset Management, Digital Operations, manufacturers, and distribution partners.
- Investigate and resolve operational issues affecting product setup, manufacturing, delivery, release availability, quality, digital exploitation, or customer fulfilment.
- Maintain accurate project status, documentation, process controls, and operational KPIs, escalating risks that may affect release dates, digital availability, or service levels.
- Drive standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement across product setup, manufacturing, and release management workflows.
Qualifications:
- Experience in supply chain operations, product operations, production, release management, or a comparable operational environment within recorded music or digital content.
- A strong preference for working knowledge of digital product setup and digital music distribution, including the data, metadata, assets, territories, timing, and configuration required to successfully deliver and maintain products across DSPs.
- Working knowledge of physical product setup and the dependencies required to bring physical products to market.
- Understanding of physical manufacturing workflows, specifications, lead times, approvals, and quality controls.
- Strong project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple releases, milestones, and dependencies concurrently.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail when working with product data, metadata, assets, specifications, and deadlines.
- Comfort using workflow tools, product management systems, DSP/distributor platforms, spreadsheets, and operational reporting.
- Experience within the recorded music, entertainment, media, or another rights-based content industry.
- Knowledge of music industry identifiers such as UPCs and ISRCs, digital release structures, DSP requirements, and content delivery standards.
- Experience working with global manufacturers, physical distributors, digital delivery partners, and content management platforms.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query, and experience using reporting or business intelligence tools.
- Experience implementing automation, AI solutions, or workflow improvements that drive operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
- Curiosity about systems, technology, and innovative ways of improving release and catalogue management.
