Your Mission
You will be responsible for curating and executing holistic digital marketing campaigns for a diverse range of artists and projects. You will work directly with artists and their teams to bring the artist brand and their music to life on digital platforms. You'll build innovative social media strategies, creator marketing partnerships, nuanced and data driven digital advertising campaigns and collaborations with key digital platform partners. You'll balance creativity with data analysis and employ agility to pivot as needed. You'll be part of a global digital team that aligns closely with colleagues in digital sales & streaming.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to grow and engage artist audiences.
- Manage social media, content planning, digital platform partnerships, and creator collaborations across all key channels (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X, etc.).
- Analyse audience and performance data to inform strategy and provide actionable insights.
- Drive artist database growth and execute CRM strategies, including email marketing and community building.
- Champion innovation by integrating AI, new technologies, and emerging digital trends into marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with Marketing Operations to manage and optimise paid advertising campaigns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with artists, managers, internal teams, and digital partners (Meta, TikTok, YouTube/Google, etc.).
- Represent the BMG Frontline digital marketing team, building strong relationships with artist managers & community as a source of expertise and knowledge in the field.
- Oversee creative content development, working closely with internal and external content producers and designers.
- Selfâedit/design content where necessary with tools available.
- Proactively identify, pitch, and implement innovative marketing opportunities with digital partners.
What We Are Looking For
- Ideally 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in the music industry.
- Technical understanding of social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X/Twitter, Snap, Facebook, etc.
- Experience in devising engaging and innovative creator partnerships, with a tangible impact on driving campaigns forward.
- A creative thinker, able to confidently manage an artist's online presence and come up with exciting digital initiatives.
- A strong interest in AI, new tech and innovation.
- A practical and organised candidate, familiar with music industry tools for analytics, smartâlinking, advertising, social posting, etc.
- Passion for, and a knowledge of the music industry, including being wellâversed in a variety of genres and up to date on music industry status quo.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in feeding meme culture and seeding content out to help it spread online through different communities.
- Experience with API authentication (OAuth, API keys); ability to integrate thirdâparty APIs into product workflows and / or create dashboards through API plugâins.
- You have experience with either or all: Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, other editing & design software.
