Hours: Saturday and Sunday 20 hour working week

Arvato are seeking a weekend warehouse operative to uphold additional responsibilities to ensure the smooth running of the operation during shifts.

The role will act as a first point of contact for the warehouse operatives, answering basic day to day questions to minimize disruption to the shift and the supervisor.

The role includes training employees in warehouse processes and assisting in support and first-line maintenance of equipment.

Your Tasks:
  • To perform the role of a warehouse operative plus additional duties.
  • Be the first point of contact for warehouse operatives.
  • Monitor activities within the designated work area to ensure tasks are completed in line with policies and procedures.
  • To support the team and ensure internal SLAs are met.
  • To provide support to the supervisor in key areas of processes and training.
  • Supervise and delegate work tasks to the team in the absence of the supervisor.
  • Adhere to all Security, Health & Safety, and housekeeping policies and processes.
  • Ensure Training for the team is up to date and completed where needed.
  • Ensure Housekeeping standards are maintained within the designated work areas.
  • To actively contribute and support the SQDIPE initiative to ensure the working environment is clean, tidy, and safe.
  • Communicate work practices, procedures and methods to team members, as required.
  • Escalate any performance/safety issues.
