The role The Brand and Marketing Designer will design creatives for marketing campaigns for Vintage books as well as for the Vintage brand channels and key company materials. In this role, you will design a broad range of physical and digital materials across a range of formats and platforms whilst ensuring consistently high quality design that aligns with Vintage’s brand guidelines. Key responsibilities: Responsible for designing industry leading digital and physical assets for marketing campaigns for Vintage books – print materials such as outdoor advertising, point-of-sale and promotional materials, digital assets including animated trailers, GIFs and statics for social media plus other digital advertising formats. Designing engaging and eye-catching assets – still and animated –for Vintage’s digital platforms, including social media channels, website and newsletter, to achieve high engagement. Maintaining the Vintage brand guidelines. Designing high-priority company presentations, physical and digital catalogues, materials for events and showcases. Supporting marketing and wider editorial teams with acquisition pitches for potential new authors, from creative vision to document structure and layout, often on quick turnaround to meet agent deadlines Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising and organising workload to meet deadlines. Support projects with creative research and idea generation. What you’ll bring Essential criteria: Demonstrable experience in a previous or similar role Excellent design skills across graphic design and animation Strong typography and layout skills Strong attention to detail Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office including Powerpoint Experience in creating motion graphics Awareness of good creative, design and advertising trends Knowledge of asset licensing requirements Preferred criteria: Ability to edit in Final Cut (or similar) An interest in photography Some illustration skills would be advantageous Knowledge of reading proofreading marks and symbols and print production Application instructions Please apply with your CV, Portfolio and Cover letter outlining why you are the right candidate for the role by 11:59pm on 12th September 2025.
