Founded in 2008, BMG reimagined the relationship between music companies, songwriters, and artists by offering fairer contracts, greater creative freedom, and unparalleled transparency in royalties and licensing. Now the fourth‑largest music company in the world, BMG combines human creativity with cutting‑edge technology to connect music with global audiences. With 16 offices across 13 key markets, BMG represents more than three million songs and recordings, including some of the most iconic catalogs and works from leading artists and songwriters such as The Rolling Stones, Tina Turner, George Harrison, Blondie, and more. BMG is wholly owned and privately held by the international media, services and education company Bertelsmann.

Great catalogue music deserves great marketing. In this role, you’ll make sure it gets it. You’ll lead international campaigns for key global releases, own the Italian catalogue from start to finish, and shape strategy alongside the SVP of Global Catalogue Marketing, including how BMG grows in emerging markets. It’s a role with real breadth: coordinating territory teams one day, digging into streaming data the next, and building the kind of artist and partner relationships that open doors. If you’re fluent in Italian, experienced in global music marketing, and energized by working across borders and genres, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • International marketing lead on global priority releases, coordinating territory teams and aligning calendars, messaging, and activity across markets.
  • Marketing plans, campaign KPIs, and budgets, briefing stakeholders, tracking performance, and presenting results in regular review meetings.
  • Digital and streaming intelligence, translating platform trends and audience behaviour into sharper campaign decisions.
  • Business development support, working with the SVP on market research and growth proposals with a focus on emerging territories.
  • Full campaign ownership for Italian catalogue releases, from brief through to post‑campaign reporting.
  • Relationship lead for Italian artists, managers, and local teams, ensuring the Italian catalogue is fully integrated into international strategy.
  • Campaign assets and production, overseeing timelines, sign‑offs, and brand and legal compliance.
  • Process and workflow improvements, proposing smarter ways of working and sharing best practice across borders.
  • Team development, onboarding and mentoring junior members where needed.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in music marketing, global repertoire, or campaign management. You’ve run campaigns, not just supported them.
  • Significant experience on multi‑territory or international projects, with a strong grasp of how global campaigns actually get made.
  • Solid understanding of Digital Marketing, and social media and DSPs – and how to turn insights into strategy.
  • Full professional fluency in Italian and English, written and spoken, plus established relationships in the Italian music industry.
  • Solid understanding of streaming platforms, DSPs, and social media, and how to turn those insights into strategy.
  • Commercially minded and data literate, comfortable with P&Ls and analytics, not just creative briefs.
  • Organised and calm under pressure, able to run multiple campaigns across time zones without dropping the ball.
  • A collaborator who can also influence, working well with teams at every level and bringing people with you.

It’s a plus if you also have an interest in or experience with business development and emerging music markets and hands‑on familiarity with digital marketing tools, content creation or design software.

Benefits
  • 25 days prorated annual leave, plus 3 days between Christmas & New Year and an extra day for your birthday.
  • Subsidised gym membership.
  • Private Health Insurance.
  • All parents, regardless of gender or sexual orientation, will receive 6 months of fully paid parental leave.
  • Artist showcases.
  • Season Ticket Loan.
  • Workplace Nursery Scheme.
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Give As You Earn Scheme.

All applicants to BMG will receive equal treatment regardless of age, disability, gender identity or expression, marital or civil partner status, pregnancy or maternity, race, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.
