Full time Position Reporting to Brands Head of HR
Purpose
People focus, responsible for delivering a proactive HR strategy always striving to develop the stores' teams, their engagement and retention in line with commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate employees to determine how well they are fulfilling their job and whether they are meeting company standards for professionalism and work performance.
- Work together with Brand Manager and Regional teams in order to identify and develop the talent pool, define and actively follow up on training plans, performance and promote the store's teams to sustain succession planning and talent management.
- Constantly work in developing programmes to build teams' capabilities to ensure employees training needs are adequately met and to run and deliver masterclasses per training calendar.
- Develop and implement recognition programmes to ensure our team retention is industry leading.
- Look into motivational initiatives to constantly drive and inspire your teams.
- Drive the compensation system to reward and recognize success within the country at all levels, maintaining the balance with personnel costs.
- Ensure salary bandings are applied fairly and consistently throughout the country.
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies designed to attract and retain the right staff according to skills and experience.
- Ensure the effective and timely recruitment of management positions.
- Responsible for all people aspects at store openings.
- Work in partnership with regional team to improve stability and strive to improve employment turnover.
- Conduct exit interviews with key members of the team and ensure exit interviews and post hire surveys information is followed up, and the relevant feedback acted upon.
- Work closely with HR Business partner to ensure consistency in policy and practice.
- Drive wellbeing initiatives to enhance the team's working experience.
- Ensure that the culture of the business develops in accordance with the Code of Conduct, company best practice and company values.
- Ensure that the principles of diversity and inclusion are embedded in your work practices and influence the ones around you.
- Ensure store teams maintain a high standard of personal presentation and Company uniform is worn at all times during working hours.
- Provide input to companywide projects to ensure the UK is able to constantly improve performance.
- Control the hours' budgets for their Brands and make recommendations in order to meet productivity and optimize the organization of the stores teams (rotas).
- Monitor, analyze and act on the Brands' KPI report to achieve business goals.
- Control: overtime, travel expenses and uniform reports (among others) and react accordingly.
- Review holiday plans against Commercial Calendar and Budgeted Hours.
- Ensure the template provided for each season is in use.
Experience and Qualifications
- People management experience, preferably in an advisory capacity.
- CIPD qualification desirable but not essential.
- Working experience managing Employment Law matters.
- Delivery of presentations and training courses.
- Experience in a range of recruitment and selection methods.

- People person, ability to advise, coach and develop people.
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to set goals and establish performance standards.
- Ability to travel for substantial periods of time and at short notice.
- Well established planning skills and an ability to take a proactive approach to resolving issues.
