We are expanding our wellâestablished Private Client department and are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and technically strong Paralegal or CILEX Lawyer to join our team in Blackpool. This is a fullâtime, officeâbased position, with partâtime considered for the right candidate.

This role involves managing a caseload of private client matters, including Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning, Probate, Court of Protection and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Drafting legal documents
- Providing legal advice
- Liaising with clients on various matters
- Representing clients in Court of Protection, where applicable
- Accurately recording all time within the accounting software and keeping clients informed of progression on matters
- Uploading correspondence and communications to case management systems and keeping them updated for audit purposes
- Writing out to all assets and liability organisations in a timely and efficient manner
Due to the development and expansion of our Private Client department, we are now seeking to appoint an enthusiastic & technically strong Paralegal to work alongside our highly reputable team.
Qualifications & Candidate requirements
- Paralegal or CILEX Lawyer with 3+ years experience - fee-earning and case handling experience
- Ideally experience and expertise in all Private Client Legal areas that we cover, including Wills, Probate, LPAs
- Court of Protection and/or contested estates experience desired but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and client management skills
- Commitment to providing clientâcentered, highâquality legal advice
- Can confidently manage and organise their own caseload
- Driving Licence (Full, clean and valid) (Preferred)
