Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role for a Private Client Solicitor or Cilex Lawyer, located in Blackpool. The role involves managing a caseload of private client matters, including Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning, Probate, contentious Probate, and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
• Daily responsibilities include drafting legal documents, providing legal advice, liaising with clients on various matters, and representing clients in Court of Protection or estate disputes, where applicable.
• Accurately record all time within the accounting software and keeping Clients informed of progression on matters.
• Uploading correspondence and communications to case management systems and keeping them updated for audit purposes.
• Writing out to all assets and liability organisations in a timely and efficient manner.

Due to the development and expansion of our Private Client department, we are now seeking to appoint an enthusiastic & technically strong Qualified Solicitor/ Cilex Lawyer to work alongside our highly reputable team.

The successful candidate will handle a caseload of complex wills, statutory wills, and administration of estates amongst other private client matters.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Private Client Law, including Wills, Trusts, Probate, and Estate Planning
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational and client management skills
• Qualified Solicitor or Cilex Lawyer with relevant accreditations
• Commitment to providing client-centered, high-quality legal advice
• Able to handle and organise their own case load

• Ambitious and driven, with a proven record of technical knowledge
• Experience gained in a high street or regional firm
