Berrycove Limited is seeking a Customer Account Manager with experience working in a commercial fresh food environment to join its expanding operations in Tobago, offering significant advancement opportunities. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the regional initiative toward building food security through advanced AgTech.
The Customer Account Manager is charged with generating leads, maintaining customer relationships, and meeting sales goals. You will report to the General Manager and work closely with the marketing and production team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:- Provide ongoing account support to customers and update internal databases with account information.
- Develop strategies to attract new customers.
- Check in on customers regularly to gauge satisfaction, address any concerns, and provide information of value such as new offerings or upcoming specials.
- Maintain customer service excellence as a representative of the company.
- Conduct research and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, engaging, and responding to social media audience, leveraging all major platforms for lead generation and conversion of new business.
- Develop product catalog, and update price lists and sales documents.
- Maintain sales records.
- Provide regular updates to management through activity and results reports such as daily call reports, and weekly and monthly work plans.
- Check and monitor stock levels at assigned customer locations.
- Support all customer deliveries.
- Check and verify damaged items at assigned customer locations and report findings.
- At least 4-5 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing preferably in the food industry.
- Knowledge of sales process and dynamics.
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
- Exposure at a location associated with horticulture and commercial hydroponic greenhouse operations is an asset.
- Professional Certificate or Diploma in Sales and Marketing.
- Five (5) CSEC (CXC)/GCE O’levels subjects inclusive of Mathematics and English.
- Excels in Customer Service with the ability to upsell and cross-sell.
- Well-organized with problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.
- Takes initiative and ownership of responsibilities.
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
