Thank you for showing an interest in applying for a position at our school. Welcome to Berrycoombe School we are in Bodmin which is a historic market town in central Cornwall, England, and the school is located on the edge of the Camel Trail.

The school has 7 classrooms, and at present 170 pupils on roll organised into mixed-age classes.

Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, together with the Local Monitoring Committee of Berrycoombe School, are seeking to appoint a dynamic and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to work as part of our team.The real strength of the school lies in the people; staff, children, parents and Local Monitoring Committee members are proud of our school and work hard to provide a caring and stimulating environment for learning. About You:

We are looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team at Berrycoombe School to support a Mixed class. The role is a fixed-term contract; it is 30 hours a week, 8:45am-3:15pm Monday – Friday as well as a 30 minute unpaid break.

You will have a child-centred approach and an ability to work within the class team to adapt both the curriculum and environment to meet the needs of the child.You will also have experience working with an intimate care plan to support intimate care needs.You will help deliver an inclusive and challenging curriculum which inspires and motivates children and supports high quality learning both indoors and out.
