We are delighted to be recruiting for this Watford based professional organisation who is looking for a Finance Assistant, you are likely to have some Accounts Receivable expertise but who ultimately wants to become an Accountant.
The company will offer support as well as appropriate study assistance.
Hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with a 1 hour lunch break.
After successful completion of your probation (3 months) you will have the opportunity to work from home one day per week.
- Daily duties include
- Raise invoices and credit notes * Produce collection reports * Process and record refunds * Clear triage queries * Reply to receipt queries
- Respond to client queries * Assist with credit control * Assist with weekly direct debit collection file and upload to BACS system * Assist with recording BACS receipts on Salesforce * Produce analysis to aid clients' P11D calculations * Recommend and implement process & procedure improvements to make sure everything is running in an efficient and timely manner * Undertake general office duties from time to time when required
You will need to be numerate preferably with an A level in maths or a relevant degree.
You must have a good understanding of Excel.
The company use Salesforce and Quickbooks but full training will be given.
The company offer a salary of £28000 - £30000pa
Due to the nature of the business a DBS check and credit check will be undertaken.
