Warehouse Operative Reporting to: Warehouse Manager Location: Hartlepool Hours: 3 days, 20 hours per week (Between Monday and Friday) Pay: £11.64 per hour, weekly pay. What You Will Be Doing? We are looking for a hard-working and proactive Warehouse Operative to support our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, processing orders, and maintaining a well-organised warehouse environment. This role requires a motivated individual with excellent organisational skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Working hours/days: You will work 3 days (20 hours per week) between the days of Monday-Friday. Your days will change depending on the needs of the business. Working hours will be between 9am – 5.30pm. We require you to have flexibility to be able to cover sickness/holidays. Pay rate: You will be paid weekly, every Friday for the hours worked the week before. Pay rate is £11.64 per hour. Warehouse Operative Key responsibilities: Accurately receive, unload, and store incoming inventory items. Perform quality checks on received products and ensure they meet company standards. Prepare and complete orders for delivery according to schedule. Organise stock and maintain inventory by labelling and storing items following the correct processes. Keep a clean and safe working environment by maintaining compliance with company procedures and regulations. Utilise warehouse management software to track inventory and maintain accurate records. Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies. Assist in maintaining and organising warehouse space for optimal efficiency. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations. Proven experience as a warehouse operative or similar role. Knowledge of warehouse software (e.g., inventory management systems). Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery. Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work. Physical capability to lift and move heavy items. Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines in a warehouse setting. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
