The candidate will work closely with other departments, such as our Packaging, Maintenance, Quality and Distribution teams. You will have experience working within a warehouse environment, be hardworking and committed to ensuring that expected standards are met across all aspects of the working environment, such as Health and Safety, Quality and Communications. You should have a positive approach, as well as being an excellent confident communicator with an ability to solve problems in a practical manner. You should be able to work in a safe, organised and efficient manner. You will take pride in the end product and understand the role the warehouse team has in delivering a great product to our customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting in picking loads
- Implementing stock rotation and recording movements
- Load and unload using forklift, including clamp
- Stock movements within the warehouse
- Cleanliness and housekeeping of the loading yard and storage areas
- Completion of relevant paperwork
- Holiday and sickness cover, potentially to cover for the distribution team
Other responsibilities:
- Work with and report any mechanical issues to the Shift Leader
- Operate a forklift safely
- Assist other employees as necessary
- Willingness to work flexible schedules as required
