The Cook role involves preparing and serving soups, salads, and paninis.
Responsibilities include food preparation, cooking, and maintaining food quality with efficient and timely service to customers.
No till or cash-handling duties are involved.

Key Responsibilities of the Cook
- To cook and provide food for staff, focusing on a variety of fresh, healthy, and balanced deli-style lunch options, including wraps, sandwiches, salads, soups, paninis, cakes and sweet treats.
- Accountable for innovative menu planning and design of food service within your own specified budget, ensuring high standard of food presentation and portion/quality control.
- Cater to individual needs e. g. allergies.
- Accountable for COSHH, food safety, health and safety, legal regulations, environment policies and duty of care to customers and colleagues.
- Maintaining, ordering and controlling food stocks within your budget.
About you
- Must be able to cook well unsupervised and come up with new and varied food options.
- Actively seen to improve ways of working and offer suggestions.
- Must be comfortable ordering the shopping and keeping to a designated budget, cleanliness and excellent food hygiene is essential.
- Committed to achieving results through a “can do” attitude.
- Needs to be a fun lively character who is able to effectively communicate with other colleagues.
- Must have a clean driving license and own car due to rural location.
