Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Production Operative to work for a company in Wallingford, Oxfordshire.
Location: Wallingford, Oxfordshire
Hours: Monday - Friday (7AM - 3PM)
Key Responsibilities of the Production Operative:
- Assist in the assembly and finish of moulded parts as directed by the Team Leader, adopting good workmanship standards and paying particular attention to quality.
- Assist in the preparation of mouldings in support of the production schedule.
- Assist in the preparation and bonding of boats.
- Assist in the cutting, grinding and flow coating of bonded boats.
- Assist in other areas of the manufacturing process as directed by your line supervisor.
- Assist in the production of sub-assemblies as and when required.
- Assist in the training of other personnel including new production operatives as required.
- Maintain workstation in a clean and tidy state.
- Operate in accordance with the company's Health and Safety procedure and other related company policies.
About you:
- A good standard of general education.
- Either qualified by experience (2 years plus) or Engineering BTEC Level qualifications with 1-2 years plus experience of working in a similar environment.
- Must be practically minded and able to use conventional workshop power and hand tools.
