Berry Recruitment is looking for a Van Driver in Kings Lynn on a potential temp to perm contract. For the right candidate you will have an opportunity to be taken on a full time contract – would maybe consider part weeks for working – e.g. 2 days if this is a preferential route.
The role is delivering sanitary products to care homes across East Anglia – these are clean products NOT soiled. There will be a large element of manual handling when you are delivering the boxes of products. You will also at times be expected to load your vehicle . There are many different runs available and you will be trained on all ultimately and therefore work within the team to deliver exceptional customer service. Very much a multi drop position.
Will be working with a PDA to record deliveries made.
7am start minimum, guaranteed 8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
Must have full UK drivers licence with no more than 6 points on your licence. Must be over 25 for insurance purposes.
Excellent customer services skills are required as you will be delivering to the general public.
The role also requires a DBS check, which we can help with as an agency to confirm.
