Join a well-established Cornwall-based transport group as our next Transport Compliance Manager. You'll ensure full legal and regulatory compliance across our fleet, drivers, and operations - protecting safety, managing risk whilst upholding high standards.
Key Duties:
- Ensure compliance with transport laws and Operator Licence obligations
- Lead audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting
- Oversee driver CPC, vehicle records, and safety standards
- Provide training and support to staff on transport compliance
- Liaise with the DVSA, HSE, and other regulatory bodies
What You'll Bring:
- Prior knowledge in a transport compliance or similar managerial role
- Deep knowledge of transport regulations (e.g., EU Drivers' Hours, WTD)
- Confident with telematics, tachograph systems, and audits (e.g., DTAS, FORS)
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Desirable: CPC, IOSH, DGSA, HGV CE, and experience in logistics.
The salary on offer is from £40,000 to £45,000 per annum.
