Trade Counter Assistant

We are delighted to be working exclusively with this long standing business in the St Albans area. They are enjoying a period of growth and are looking for a Trade Counter Assistant at their St Albans Branch. You will come from a retail background preferably in an industry that deals with trades personnel. It isn\’t essential but would be a distinct advantage. Your day to day responsibilities include welcoming customers, dealing with trade counter sales, answering customer enquiries and furnishing them with the correct information. Obtaining stock from the warehouse or stores as required. Ensuring that the store is inviting, dealing with promotions etc. handling stock count on a regular basis. You will be engaging, enjoy working with people, be physically fit and look to increase sales wherever possible. You will have an excellent telephone manner and have good IT ability. In return the company offer a competitive salary of between £27,000 – £35,000pa, free car parking,pension, life insurance as well as employee discounts.
