Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers for our client in the Stafford area. This is a temp to perm role for the right candidate. Immediate starts available.

Duties include:

  • Driving to planned collection routes.
  • Ensure thorough vehicle checks are completed.
  • Ensure all paperwork is correct and physically checked.
  • Assist with bin collection on-route.
  • Communicate issues to the transport office efficiently.
  • Effective communication with customers, colleagues, control staff and other depots.
  • Ensuring that carriageways are left in a clean condition.
  • Maintain health and safety standards on all sites.

Requirements:

  • A successful driving assessment and company induction.
  • Positive and flexible attitude.
  • Previous experience is highly desirable.
  • No DD, IN, DR, LC, CD endorsements for insurance purposes.
