Berry Recruitment are looking for a Help Desk Operative to work at Southampton General Hospital on a maternity cover contract. You will need to be available for induction on Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th April for induction and start asap after this. You will need to be flexible with working hours as the help desk runs Monday to Sunday either 06.30-13.30 or 13.30-21.00. Hourly pay rate £12.71. Please note you will need a BASIC DBS check for this role. The hospital would also like help desk operatives to be trained as ward hosts in case you are asked to ever cover this due to being short staffed.
Key Duties:
- Support point for information and communication between organisation and customer
- Receive Service Centre requests (telephone calls, emails and reception) from all service areas of the hospital
- Enter details of calls into database and follow up details of action and outcome
- Using specific software and databases
Candidate Requirements:
- Excellent customer service at all times
- Working as part of a busy team and also unsupervised
