We are looking for a Shipping and Logistics Specialist for this Watford based operation.
The role is office based so please only apply if you are in a commutable distance of Watford. Your day to day duties revolve around managing the shipping critical path to ensure customer requirements and delivery deadlines are achieved, ensuring information is updated and accessible. Calculate CBM to optimise space and cost in containers. Prepare all shipping paperwork. Analyse supplier and carrier performance. Working closely with stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of the operation.
You will have a strong background in shipping that involves supplying a brand to retailers. Expertise working with international suppliers in the Far East and global freight forwarders. Strong knowledge of customs processes and tariffs.
In return the company offers a salary up to £42000pa plus a potential annual bonus and more.
Hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm.
