We are currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated 7.5T Sweeper Driver to join a busy operational team based in Charnwood (LE12). This is a fantastic opportunity to secure ongoing work with a well-established organisation, playing a vital role in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming public spaces across the local community.

This hands-on role involves driving and operating specialist street sweeping vehicles while supporting environmental and waste management operations throughout the area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely drive and operate specialist 7.5T street sweeping vehicles
  • Clean designated roads, footways, public spaces, and highways
  • Remove litter, leaves, debris, and other waste materials
  • Carry out bulky waste collections in accordance with operational requirements
  • Lead and complete daily routes efficiently and safely
  • Conduct vehicle checks and accurately report defects or maintenance issues
  • Complete all required compliance documentation, including working hours and fleet records
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety procedures
  • Maintain relevant licences, qualifications, and training requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Full UK Driving Licence with C1 (7.5T) entitlement
  • Previous experience driving 7.5T vehicles is desirable
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
