Our client based in Berkhamsted is looking for a Production Planning Manager to oversee the operations in terms of production planning and control and inventory and stock management. This would suit someone with an engineering bias.

You will create, maintain and adjust production plans and schedules to meet the demands of the clients whilst optimising capacity. Monitor daily and monthly output. Work closely with the team to ensure realistic timescales and product generation. Working closely with the supervisor to ensure priorities are met and the smooth running of the production and warehouse areas.

All of the products are bespoke so understanding of exact quantities etc is paramount. You will also manage the stock control and do regular cycle counts and take control of the annual stock check.

Hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm with an hour's lunch. Salary is £50,000 plus Paycare, free parking, and pension.
