Job Title: Potato Graders
Based around the Norfolk area, CB25 0LA
Start Date: 08/09/2025
Working Hours: 6 days a week, Sunday\’s off. 6AM Starts
Pay Rate: 12.21 and 18.32 overtime after 8 hours Monday to Thursday and after 7 hours on Friday. Saturday 18.32 all hours
Expected 12 hours days 45 minutes break
Berry recruitment is currently seeking Potato Graders to work as a team and to support the upcoming harvest season. This is a hands-on role – manual handling is required and is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail and team management skills.
Main responsibilities:
- Working as a team of grading staff; ensuring a continual work flow and ensuring that the break times are shared to keep the lines going.
- Ensure standards are met within the grading and that no foreign objects get though during the grading process.
- You will be working on the Stationary Grader, so no need to worry about travel sickness!
Requirements:
- Must be available from September, including working Saturday\’s (working 6 days a week)
- Usual start times 6AM – flexibility around workdays will be needed.
- Own transport advantageous due to location- some lift shares may be available at a cost of 6 per day paid to the driver.
- Must wear relevant PPE – Safety boots and a hi vis, gloves will be provided by the farm
