Job Description

Berry Recruitment is offering a fantastic opportunity for 2 x Plumbers to join our team, working with Southampton City Council. This 3-month contract has the potential for full-time employment for the right candidates.

The Role:

  • Working in Bassett, Lordshill, Shirley, and the City Centre
  • Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday
  • PAYE direct with Berry Recruitment – including holiday pay
  • Carrying out property maintenance
  • Working within the Housing Operations team, liaising with residents and colleagues
  • You will be provided with a van, uniform and PPE also issued power tools and equipment

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Plumber with experience in property maintenance
  • Current full UK driving license to drive vehicles throughout the City
  • To have served a recognised apprenticeship to a Level 2 – 3 qualification in Plumbing or equivalent with 3 years' experience of working in the domestic, commercial construction & maintenance environment
  • Ability to carry out small works in other trades
  • Confident, self-motivated, and customer-focused
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry
