Berry Recruitment are recruiting for Catering Managers to work in a school based in Peterborough.
The Catering Manager will oversee a high-volume kitchen serving fresh meals to students.
This hands-on leadership role involves managing the catering team, planning menus, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Key Duties-
Plan healthy breakfast, lunch, and event menus.
Ensure all meals meet school nutritional guidelines and legal standards.
Manage food allergies, intolerance's, and special dietary needs Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff.
Control food costs, order stock, and manage the catering budget.
This is a mobilisation role so it will be a high-pressure phase that involves updating equipment, updating schedules of staff, and setting up entirely new kitchen systems.
Hours - Monday- Friday 7am- 3pm.
Hourly rate - starting from £23.00 per hour.
Employment dates - 02/09/2026 - 18/09/2026. It is likely there will also be further shifts.
- You must either have or be willing to obtain the following-
- Food Safety Level 3 qualification from an accredited supplier
- Enhanced DBS clearance (we can help you obtain this for £59.50)
Completion of online training for Allergens, Food Hygiene, Safeguarding, and KCSIE- candidates must be willing to pay a training fee.
All certificates can all be obtained through Berry Recruitment- you will need to pay the training fee.
