Berry Recruitment have a new exciting opportunity within Manufacturing and Production! We are currently recruiting for a Head of Technical for a successful UK family Production and Distribution company near Wisbech. The Head of Technical will oversee the technical aspects of the production and ensure the highest standards of quality and innovation align with our company’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Goods in and supplier quality - Ensure the products we receive from internal and external partners are of the right specification and suitable for the purpose it is intended.
  • Equipment responsibility - Ensure all equipment required in the process is maintained and procured as necessary in collaboration with the small on-site maintenance team and third-party suppliers.
  • Team member performance and improvement - Manage the daily activity of the team, ensuring daily activity is undertaken.
  • Production based improvement trials - Manage the function to continually improve the quality and efficiency of production processes and production techniques to achieve the best quality at the lowest price.
  • Production responsibility - Liaise regularly with the stock.
