A great opportunity has arisen at our client, a food production establishment in Bishops Stortford, for a night shift counter balance forklift truck operator. This is an ongoing temporary role but could potentially lead to temp to perm for the right person. Paying £14.97ph with overtime payable after daily hours.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 22.00-06.00. Initial training will take place on a rotating day shift pattern of 0600-1400 and 14.00-22.00 until you can work competently.
Responsibilities:- Use of a counter balance forklift to load and unload lorries.
- Safely store grain and flour on racking using forklift truck.
- Setting up, loading and calibrating machinery used in the production process of flour.
- Monitoring machinery and logging data.
- Dismantling and cleaning of machinery and production area.
- Working in tandem with automated palletiser machinery.
- The right candidate will ideally have worked in a production environment or used machinery, be able to work quickly and efficiently.
- Valid Counterbalance FLT Certificate is required.
- Potential temp to perm position for the right candidate.
- Strict health and safety guidelines must be adhered to at all times.
