Berry Recruitment is currently recruiting Class 2 Refuse Drivers for a local authority based at their Millbrook depot. This is an ongoing contract working Mon to Fri 6am - 4pm. This may lead to permanent for the right candidate. Hourly pay rate £18.26 increasing to £18.57 after 12 weeks.
Requirements
- YOU MUST HAVE THE CORRECT LICENSES FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDING VALID CPC AND TACHO CARD!
- The successful candidate must be able to work responsibly, safely, and in a timely manner.
Duties
- Driving a class 2 vehicle and sometimes be required to assist with the loading.
- To collect paper, green waste, household waste and special collections.
- Heavy lifting / fast paced.
- Customer facing.
Qualifications
- Class 2 driving experience is essential.
- Must hold a valid CPC certificate.
- Must have a digital tachograph card.

Other Details
Previous experience of the waste industry and of waste collection is preferred but not essential as training will be given.
