HYDRAULIC FITTER REQUIRED Near MAIDSTONE KENT. My client based on the outskirts of Maidstone, are looking for a Hydraulic Fitter to join their busy team. The role will require the following:
- Working in the Depot under instructions from the Depot Manager/Leadinghand to make equipment ready for hire.
- Inspect, service and repair hydraulic hire equipment and depot assets in line with level of competency.
- Attend breakdowns of our clients' equipment on customer sites to undertake the inspection, servicing and repair of hire equipment where safe to do so and in line with company procedures ensuring company policies and processes are followed.
- Use of pneumatic/electrical hand tools (full in-house training will be provided).
- Keep up to date and accurate service/inspection records at all times.
- Identify and record damage of out of service equipment.
- Drive counter-balance or multi-directional forklift trucks to load/unload vehicles, move, prepare and store equipment (full in-house training will be provided).
- Hydraulic systems knowledge and ability to fault find is essential with this role along with the ability to complete records, paperwork accurately.
- Using scanners, PDA's, tablets and computers will also be part of this role.
- There will be Customer service involved mainly face to face when attending sites.
- Pressure wash hire equipment and move equipment/materials via manual handling or forklift and willingness to keep the yard/work space areas tidy.
- Full UK driving Licence is required.
