Berry recruitment is looking for a Remote HIAB Class 2 Driver with Grab. The ideal candidate will have experience driving a HIAB primarily with builders merchants as this involves similar deliveries. You will be responsible for timely deliveries and calling ahead clients to advise of delivery time, so excellent customer service is extremely important.
Duties will include:
- Vehicle pre-inspection checks before work starts
- Calling ahead clients with ETA
- Completion of delivery paperwork accurately
- Using a Remote HIAB for deliveries
- Loading and unloading vehicle safely and strapping according to company guidelines
- Accurate recording and adherence to the driving regulations and not exceeding Tacho rules
- Reporting any issues as they arise to your transport office
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Class 2 Driving Licence
- Tacho Card
- Drivers Qualification Card (CPC)
- HIAB Ticket
- Minimum 6 months experience in a similar delivery role
Working days will be Tuesday to Saturday inclusive. PAYE rates are £17.00 per hour.
