About the Role
Berry Recruitment is working on behalf of a client to recruit an experienced Grab Wagon Driver / Clamshell Operator for an immediate start in Sheffield. This role is ideal for someone with strong civils, highways or materials-handling experience who is confident operating grab wagons and managing site movements safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a grab wagon with clamshell attachment
- Transporting materials including stone, concrete, muck and tarmac
- Lifting pallets using straps
- Supporting depot and site teams with material movements
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Working safely and efficiently within site guidelines
Requirements
- Valid Grab Wagon licence / operator certification
- Experience using clamshell grab equipment
- Strong understanding of material handling and site safety
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively
