The Role

As the Front of House Receptionist, you will be responsible for delivering a polished, professional service to staff, visitors and clients at all levels. You will ensure the reception area runs smoothly, providing exceptional communication and organisational support throughout the day.

  • Answer incoming calls in a polite, courteous and professional manner, directing queries appropriately.
  • Manage high volumes of post including incoming/outgoing mail and arranging courier services.
  • Greet visitors warmly, set up meeting rooms, offer refreshments and ensure sign-in procedures are followed.
  • Oversee the reception area and respond to general enquiries.
  • Book and manage meeting rooms and conference call requests.
  • Order weekly stationery through the purchase order system.
  • Act as the first point of contact for any office-related issues, ensuring they are escalated or resolved appropriately.
  • Report any maintenance or Health & Safety concerns to the relevant teams.
  • Carry out daily cleaning and restocking of coffee machines.
