Working Hours: 7 days a week, when weather allows 7AM Starts
Pay Rate: £13 and £19.00 overtime after 8 hours Monday to Thursday and after 7 hours on Friday. Saturday and Sunday £19.00 all hours
Expected 12 hours days 45 minutes break
Berry recruitment is currently seeking Potato Fork Lift driver to work as part of a team to support the ongoing harvest season. This is a hands-on role – manual handling is required and is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail and team management skills. Must hold a FLT certificate.
Main responsibilities:
Fork Lift driving – keeping lines and graders fully primed and lorries loaded as required.
Working as a team of grading staff; ensuring a continual work flow and ensuring that the break times are shared to keep the lines going.
Ensure standards are met within the grading and that no foreign objects get though during the grading process.
You will be working alongside the teams on the Stationary Grader.
Requirements:
Must be available from 25th September, including working Saturday\’s and Sundays for an overtime rate until potato harvest finishes on this farm (4-6 weeks)
Usual start times 7AM – flexibility around workdays will be needed.
Own transport advantageous due to location- some lift shares may be available at a cost of £6 per day paid to the driver.
Must wear relevant PPE – Safety boots and a hi vis, gloves will be provided by the farm
