Berry Recruitment are currently looking for a Flooring Contracts Manager on behalf of our client based in the Totton / Southampton area. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, ideal for someone with flooring or construction project experience. This role will involve overseeing and managing flooring projects from start to finish. Full training will be provided; however, previous industry experience is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all stages of flooring contracts, from site surveys and project planning through to final inspection
  • Prepare estimates and cost new enquiries
  • Coordinate labour and materials, including managing teams of fitters and scheduling works
  • Source materials such as carpet, vinyl, and LVT
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, attending meetings and maintaining strong relationships
  • Monitor installation quality and ensure work meets required standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience in flooring installation, contracts management, or a similar role (commercial or residential)
  • Strong technical knowledge of flooring systems, subfloor preparation, and installation methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and project timelines
