This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified finance professional to play a key role in supporting the strategic and financial management of one of the largest and most active town councils in the country.
Reporting directly to the Town Clerk, you will lead a small finance team and take responsibility for the Council's financial management, ensuring strong governance, regulatory compliance and value for money across a wide range of community services and facilities.
About the Role As Finance Manager and Responsible Financial Officer (RFO), you will: Lead and manage the Council's finance function and finance team.
Prepare and monitor annual budgets and medium-term financial plans.
