Job Description Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Part-time Canteen Cook to work for a company in Wantage, Oxfordshire. Responsibilities include food preparation, cooking, and maintaining food quality with efficient and timely service to customers. Role: Part-time Canteen Cook (24 Hours per week) - Permanent Salary: £14.50 Per Hour Hours: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8am - 4pm To cook and provide food for staff, focusing on a variety of fresh, healthy, and balanced deli-style lunch options, including wraps, sandwiches, salads, soups, paninis, cakes and sweet treats. Accountable for innovative menu planning and design of food service within your own specified budget, ensuring high standard of food presentation and portion/quality control. Accountable for COSHH, food safety, health and safety, legal regulations, environment policies and duty of care to customers and colleagues. Maintaining, ordering and controlling food stocks within your budget. Must be able to cook well unsupervised and come up with new and varied food options. Must be comfortable ordering the shopping and keeping to a designated budget, cleanliness and excellent food hygiene is essential. Must have a clean driving license and own car due to rural location.
