Our client based in Eastleigh is a global building materials company and the largest global manufacturer of fibre cement products. They are looking for an Operative with a Forklift License, based in their large warehouse that will be responsible for Quality Control and Goods In.
Technical Requirements:
- Completed training or proven experience, ideally in logistics, warehouse operations, or quality assurance.
- Experience or knowledge of quality control: e.g., incoming goods inspection, visual checks, dimensional checks.
- Computer skills would be an advantage: working with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, WMS) and MS Office.
- Skills in documenting and reporting quality deviations.
- Forklift license.
Personal Requirements:
- Attention to detail and accuracy when inspecting goods.
- Sense of responsibility and reliability.
- Teamwork skills, but also the ability to work independently.
- Resilience, especially during high-volume periods.
- Willingness to work shifts, if required.
