Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for a General Forklift Operative to work based on the outskirts of Downham Market at British Sugar. This will be a varied role but will include- Supporting the movement of stock around the warehouse and yard using a Forklift General Warehouse and Factory Duties Yard work- using machinery, supporting tidiness, FLT driving Manual physical work will be involvedThis role is predominantly based outside so can be hot, cold or wet -you will also need to be comfortable with working in a dusty/ dirty environment. Hours are on a 3 shift rotation 7am- 3pm, 3pm- 11pm and 11pm- 7am, you must be able to do all 3. You will need to have good writing and numeracy skills for this role. Own transport is preferred due to company location You must hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift License. This role is temporary and is for a minimum of 2-3 months, however is likely to be longer.
