Domestic Electrician – prison accommodation Pay Rate: Negotiable Hours: 1 in 3 shift pattern required Weekdays: 08:00-17:00 Weekends: 08:00-16:00Main Responsibilities: Install, maintain, service, and repair electrical installations, circuits, and wiring systems in domestic prison properties. Undertake all electrical works associated with domestic prison properties.Key Duties: Test and inspect electrical installations in prison properties in accordance with the 17th IEE Wiring Regulations as amended from time to time (“the Regulations”). Maintain and repair electrical installations in accordance with the Regulations. Replace circuits and consumer units, including full rewiring of properties. Comply with Company Health and Safety Policy, the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and other statutory legislation. Strict adherence to Company Health and Safety and operational policies. Compliance with instructions and directives from line management and the Central Coordination Team. Deliver electrical repairs and testing in both occupied and void properties.
